About Us

Taragaon Regency Hotels Limited is a public limited company established on March 29, 1993, under a public-private partnership. The hotel began operations in 1997 as a Super Deluxe Hotel Cum Nepali Cultural and Tourism Centre. Located on 304 Ropani of land near the Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the 300-room, 5-star hotel is just 4 km from Tribhuvan International Airport. Designed in traditional Newari style, it has been managed by Hyatt International since the beginning. The hotel was inaugurated by His Late Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. In 1999, TRHL was listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange, allowing public shareholding. Today, it stands as a symbol of national pride and a popular destination for both local and international visitors.
